Our Volunteer Opportunities
Counselors
By maintaining a 1:1 ratio, our Counselors are able to offer one-on-one attention and provide the very best care and enthusiasm for our campers. Volunteer Camp Counselors stay on site for the entire week of camp and get to participate in all the super fun camp activities with their buddy! Medical Staff
At camp, our Medical Staff provides on-site care including medicine administration, monitoring, emergency response and first aid. This volunteer and paid opportunity is open to those that are a registered nurse, licensed vocational nurse, nurse practitioner or doctor, have an active license in the state of California and carry liability insurance.

Kitchen Angels
Kitchen Angels lend a helping hand at our summer camps by assisting with a variety of tasks to support mealtimes, such as passing out tray and utensils! Volunteering as a Kitchen Angel is a great way to get a involved for a couple of hours at camp!

Group Volunteers
Group Volunteers make camp magic possible! Whether you’re rallying your coworkers, bringing your corporate team, or a group from your organization, we’d love to welcome you to RAD Camp!
From cheering on campers at arrival and celebrating at closing ceremonies, to joining in on the fun at Field Day, the RAD Dance, Movie Night, and more, there are so many meaningful (and fun!) ways for your group to get involved.
