About Us

RAD Camp was created to empower people, shining a light on each as an individual with unique and amazing abilities, regardless of disability, diagnosis or description! In 2014, RAD Camp held it’s first Camp and we never looked back.

Our Story

With over 40 years of joint experience working in the special needs community, Katie Webb Brundige and Meghan Clem knew there could be a place where everyone would feel accepted, people would be acknowledged for the amazing humans that they are, caregivers would get support they so desperately need, and the youth in the community would have a life-changing volunteer experience. RAD Camp was created to accomplish this vision. It’s powered by a passionate, strong volunteer community that truly believes the world needs a little more RAD! We are excited to welcome you into the RAD family and share our passion and purpose with you.

Katie Webb Brundige

Co-Founder, Executive Director of Awesome {Programming}

Katie loves cookie dough more than cookies, would wear Lululemon all day, and swears that exercise is therapy (also, shopping!). She believes in dreaming big, working hard and making the impossible, reality! Katie received her degree in Hospitality, Event and Tourism Management from San Diego State University. Alongside Meghan, she owns and operates Intertwined, a successful events and social media company. She began working with people with special needs as a volunteer and now has more than 20 years of experience in the field. Her passion for those with awesome abilities has led her to the loves of her life: RAD Camp and all those it serves, her husband, a fellow RAD Volunteer, and their two adopted sons who have special needs.

Meghan “Megz” Clem

Co-Founder, Executive Director of Awesome {Development}

Your biggest fan and our biggest motivator, Megz is always a bit too loud, a lot-bit energetic and just the right amount of cool! She tells everyone they “rock” because, obviously, they do! She believes in the power of spreadsheets, knowing (and shouting) your worth and that she was secretly meant to be a free safety for the USC Trojans football team! She has been working in the special needs community for nearly 25 years as a Volunteer, Communications Director and Fundraiser. She received her degree in Public Relations from, you guessed it, USC! After meeting Katie in high school while volunteering, the friendship turned into a lifelong partnership where they have developed successful businesses and founded RAD to give back to the community they cherish! Meghan and her husband stay busy chasing around their twin boys and little girl!

Reagan Blason Farrell

Program Director

Empathy is Reagan’s superpower. She is big on emotions and encouraging people to feel all their feels. She is a problem solver, kindness spreader and advocate for those who need it. After volunteering at RAD for the last 14 years as a Counselor, Team Leader and most recently the Program Manager, Reagan now has her dream job as RAD Camp’s first Program Director! She received her bachelor’s degree in psychology from Chapman, along with a Master’s in Educational Psychology and Education Specialist degree in School Psychology. She has worked for the Irvine school district as a School Psychologist supporting children with unique needs and helping families navigate special education. Reagan loves her dog Odin, her husband Cameron, running, and diet coke (not necessarily in that order!). She also believes that the world would be a better place if everyone had a golden retriever!

Colleen Farrell

Development Director

Meet Colleen, a conversation enthusiast with a knack for making people feel seen and heard. Whether it’s cracking a joke or diving deep into meaningful discussions, Colleen is always ready to chat and bring a little joy into someone’s day. Colleen began her journey as a volunteer for the disability community in high school, and that passion has only grown stronger over the years. With a degree in Journalism from San Francisco State University, she has spent years working as a television producer. Now, she’s bringing her production and development skills to her home away from home, RAD Camp, where she continues to support and amplify the raddest of voices. When she’s not at Camp, Colleen is with her nieces and nephews, watching a great movie or attempting to become a better golfer—though, it’s a bit tricky to stay positive when the ball keeps ending up in the water! (How do you do it, Rory?!) A true advocate for the disabled community, Colleen is dedicated to making a difference and spreading positivity wherever she goes!

Reina Sambrano

Program and Participant Manager

Reina is always on the move, loves traveling and would eat peanut butter everyday if she could! She is super organized with her multiple planners and likes everything to be color coordinated! Reina recently graduated Chapman University with a bachelor’s degree in music and minor in disability studies. She has a true passion for working with those with special needs and always strives to make everyone feel included. When not working, she can be found shopping, hanging out with her awesome roommates or spending time with family.

Victoria Sanchez

Communications and Development Coordinator

There are 3 main things you should know about Victoria… She loves musical theatre, would watch TV shows all day if possible, and aspires to be Dolly Parton daily! She never leaves home without lipgloss and always carries a pair of Crocs and high heels in the trunk of her car. She graduated from California State University, Fullerton with a bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations and a minor in Cinema and Television Arts. She began her RAD journey as an intern while in school and was later brought onto the team as an Assistant Coordinator and Grant Writer. While working at RAD, she discovered a passion for nonprofits and bringing accessible services and life-changing opportunities to the community!

Jackie Jones

Logistics Coordinator

Jackie is the sprinkler of the glitter at camp – making sure everything and everyone shines bright! She loves fashion, spin classes, wakeboarding and hanging at the beach. She lives for a fresh cold Fountain Diet Coke, and could eat Nerds Ropes all day long. She obsesses over organization and will inventory her heart away, especially the RAD storage pod. Jackie received her degree in Hospitality Management with a focus in Meeting and Event Planning from the University of Alabama, ROLL TIDE!!! Jackie’s passion for people with disabilities started when she volunteered at RAD Camp in high school and loves nothing more than giving back to the RAD community. Her favorite part of camp is watching all the buddies on camper arrival day… ALL THE HUGS, ALL THE SMILES, ALL THE HAPPINESS AND ALL THE RAD!!!!!!
